Every Tuesday at 19.30Hrs in The Pace Cafe, The Old School, Ardersier
Ardersier International Folk Club is a group of like minded people who meet every Tuesday and sing 'Round the Table' giving everyone an equal opportunity to perform their songs, tunes, poems, stories and chat. We are a non membership club and are financed by everybody making a small donation on the night. We encourage everyone and in particular young people to come along and play an instrument or sing a song. The club is also open to those who want to come along and listen and we do have a regular audience.
We have guest nights every few weeks and Artistes we have had include some of the top performers from the folk world including, Ivan Drever, Saltfish Forty, Mean Mary and Frank James, Archie Fisher, Anna Massie and Mairead Green, Kieran Halpin and Kenny Spiers to date.

Kongero - 24th September               Tickets available on the Booking Page With their voices moving together in tight harmony or intertwining in a whirling tempo, the highly acclaimed vocal folk group Kongero draws traditional Swedish music out of the past and into the present. A concert with Kongero will take the listener on a fabulous journey, an all-embracing Scandinavian folk music experience.

My Pennyworth - 30th June 2020 My Pennyworth are singer/songwriters from New Zealand who identify themselves with folk music, but entertain with so much more. There is a little bit of country, rock, pop and blues in their songs that tell stories about love, dreams, places, and their Celtic heritage. My Pennyworth enthral with a selection of instruments that includes guitar, keyboard, accordion, bass, bodhran, penny whistle …and bagpipes!
